A day after the most powerful increase since a November peace between the United States and Hezbollah, Lebanon’s health department reported one fatality on Sunday in an Jewish drone attack.
After the official National News Agency ( NNA ) had reported the strike on the southern village, the health ministry claimed that the Israeli enemy droned on a car in Aita al-Shaab and killed one citizen.
Eventually, the Israeli military claimed in a statement that it had “attacked and eliminated” a Hezbollah part in the Aita al-Shaab region.
Additionally, NNA reported that Israel launched individual attacks on Naqurah, Shihin, and Labbouneh in the north, close to the Jewish borders, on Sunday.
The conflict between Israel and the Hezbollah-backed militant group Hezbollah was put on hold on Saturday, marking the most powerful increase since a November peace.
Seven people were killed on Saturday, according to the Lebanonese health government, including a Hezbollah official who was reportedly the target of an AFP attack on Tyre, according to a security cause.
Israel has stated that the attacks were” a reply to rocket fire toward Israel.”
Hezbollah denied being a part of the rocket fire and called Israel’s accusations “pretexts for its continuing strikes on Lebanon.”
Following a season of warfare between Israel and Hezbollah, including two weeks of unofficial war, the November peace brought relative quiet.
Israel has continued to attack Lebanon since the peace, specifically at what it claims are Hezbollah defense installations that have violated the agreement.
Hezbollah is supposed to withdraw its troops north of the Litani River, about 30 kilometers ( 20 miles ) from the Israeli border, and destroy any remaining military installations in the south in accordance with the ceasefire.
Israel is supposed to leave its forces along the de facto border of the UN-delineated Blue Line, but it has missed two deadlines and continues to hold five jobs that it considers” strategic.”
