US President Donald Trump has given guidance to Kamala Harris, his past political rival, does she decide to run for governor of California next year.
In a Saturday meeting with OutKick’s Clay Travis, Trump said,” Let her run.” He remarked that Harris needs to start engaging more with the internet, despite his reluctance to offer social tips.
Trump remarked,” President Joe Biden got ahead with avoiding interviews during COVID, but she didn’t have that excuse.”
Harris, 60, has remained largely silent in the political realm since losing the election of 2024. Among her future plans is a potential pay for governor in California in 2026, a second presidential bid in 2028, or taking on a secret position within the Democratic Party. Harris might have a clear way if she decides to run because existing California governor Gavin Newsom is term-limited.
Since taking office in January, Harris has just made a few people looks, most recently at last month’s 56th NAACP Image Awards. She was selective in her press contacts during the 2024 plan, a practice that some Democratic planners have since refuted. Some lamented her inability to look on popular platforms like Joe Rogan’s podcast.
Trump, in contrast, embraced a media-heavy method, appearing on numerous independent websites like those hosted by Rogan, Theo Von, and Andrew Schultz. Barron, Trump’s son, was credited with assisting him in choosing which discussions to pursue.
Vice President JD Vance, Trump’s running mate, was crucial to the 2024 election’s interaction with the conventional media. Tim Walz, Harris ‘ vice presidential find, has since expressed his frustration over restrictions placed on his public appearances. Walz had suggested holding more interviews and public events during the party’s final bend, but campaign officials rejected his ideas.
Walz argued that Democrats may have erred in their choice of tactics after reflecting on the strategy. He argued that “fighting the next challenge is dangerous rather than the next one,” noting that Trump’s strategy for media engagement was crucial to the election.
Caitlyn Jenner made a mockery of Walz for suggesting that liberals feared his manhood, and he recently made headlines. Jenner, who is transgender, joked that she is more sexier than Walz. When asked who had prevail in a fight between the two, Trump responded,” Oh, Caitlyn Jenner all day long.”
Trump even mentioned his second win in an OutKick interview, suggesting it showed how poorly the Democratic Party performed. What they were doing didn’t work, he claimed.
Trump also made note of the differences between his first and second terms as president, highlighting his growing help for the technology sector. The people who attended the opening were a who’s who of a universe that was completely hostile the first time, according to the president. So the president is significantly different. He claimed that he now has many more help.
