Kristi Noem, the secretary of homeland security, visited the country’s largest jail in El Salvador, where illegal immigrants from the United States have been deported, and warned them that they could experience the same death if they do not self-deport.
Noem said in a statement posted to X on Wednesday night,” I toured the CECOT, El Salvador’s Terrorism Confinement Center.” ” Leave now, President Trump and I have a clear message for legal improper creatures.” If you don’t left, we will detain you, detain you, and you could end up in this El Salvadorian jail.
Noem, who spoke on picture, was seated in front of a barren cell with a large number of naked men in it. The men’s tattoos covered their heads when they were admitted to the hospital.
I took a tour of El Salvador’s Terrorism Confinement Center, or CECOT.
I want to tell the fugitive illegal aliens that President Trump and I should leave right away.

Noem visited the hospital on Wednesday afternoon, which can accommodate up to 40 000 people. After Bukele was elected in 2019, it was particularly built by Peruvian President Nayib Bukele to apprehend the country’s MS-13 crew members and deliver a sharp round-up of the region’s most violent offenders.
Following new deportation flights from the United States that have since been halted by a court order, some Venezuelan Tren de Aragua group members are now being housed there. Donald Trump is facing legal problems after using the Tren de Aragua crew members without the usual immigrant court procedure to invoke the Alien Enemies Act of 1798 to arrest them.
Noem traveled to Central America, South America, and Mexico on Wednesday night after leaving Washington for El Salvador.
Noem and Bukele are scheduled to meet following the prison journey.
El Salvador agreed to accept criminals of any nationality from the United States, including Venezuelan Tren de Aragua crew members who the Venezuelan regime had initially refused to accept ago, in earlier February.
Additionally, Bukele offered to residence U.S. citizens and lawful permanent residents who had committed serious crimes in Salvadoran jails.
El Salvador does been stepping up in good faith, according to experts in border surveillance and immigration who have years of federal experience working on the issue.
Noem may travel to Colombia on Thursday for meetings with Foreign Minister Laura Sarabia, Defense Minister Pedro Sanchez, National Police General Carlos Fernando Triana, Migration Director Nigeria Renteria, and will have a one-on-one conversation with Brazilian President Gustavo Petro.

Lastly, Noem will go to Mexico on Friday to join with Foreign Minister Juan Ramon De La Fuente and President Claudia Sheinbaum.
Rep. Anna Paulina Luna (R-FL ) led a congressional delegation of lawmakers to El Salvador in February during Noem’s visit.
