Co-host Sunny Hostin discussed the major ramifications of the Wisconsin Supreme Court special election in a recent ABC News season, calling it “referendum” for both Elon Musk and President Donald Trump.
Judge Brad Schimel defeated Judge Susan Crawford, who had been backed by Musk and another liberal groups, in the election, with the support of Democrats.
Hostin emphasized that the competition reflected the growing unpopularity among voters due to the influence of strong individuals like Trump and Musk on the political process.
Hostin said on Wednesday,” I would suggest it’s a vote on Trump and undoubtedly a referendum on Musk.” He “lost more cash in Tesla stock than you can think.” He backed his business, but I believe Americans are saying,” Mr. Musk, you don’t get to travel in here and get our judges, our elections, and power.” You are not permitted to do that.
But, Byron York, the chief political correspondent for the Washington Examiner, questioned the idea that the Wisconsin Supreme Court vote was provide a reliable indicator of public opinion.
” I’m not sure if these are great tests,” York said in a statement on Fox News ‘ America Reports. Wisconsin is, of course, quite near. We’ve had these fights before in Wisconsin, and Trump won it by less than one place. In this alleged democratic race, whether a Republican or Democrat wins, I’m not certain whether this outcome will reveal much about Trump.
Joy Behar noted how Musk had poured millions into the culture in an episode of The View, hoping to influence the outcome in favor of Republicans.
Behar continued, noting that the Florida special elections were “very nearby,”” What it’s saying to me is that American have had it.”
Americans are fed up, they say. People are paying attention and paying attention to how their freedom are being eroded, their income is threatened, and people are being fired in large numbers. They’re starting to understand what this plan is up to,” Behar continued.
Bose remarked about Musk’s wealth in the Wisconsin vote,” You know when inflation is out of control when you can’t get an election for$ 20 million.”
