According to reports quoting a supply in Yunus ‘ business, PM Narendra Modi and Bangladesh’s deputy director Muhammad Yunus may discuss the status of the BIMSTEC conference in Thailand on April 3 and 4, according to reports.
New Delhi continues to insist that it is looking into the request rather than completely rejecting it despite Dhaka’s ask for a conference. It will be their primary in-person conference since Yunus took over as deputy director last August following the resignation of former prime minister Sheikh Hasina.

Min Aung Hlaing, the head of the Myanmar military dictatorship, is alleged to possess confirmed his attendance at the conference. A diplomatic relationship with him is still possible because Myanmar is dealing with a traumatic disaster last year.
On Friday, Modi may even make a visit to Thai King Maha Vajiralongkorn, also known as Rama X, and Queen Suthida.
