A 23-year-old pro-life advocate was left bruised and needing needles after being punched in the face during a city meeting in New York City.
A viral videos showed Savannah Craven Antao, a writer with the lobbying group Live Action, conducting city conversations in Harlem on Thursday when a heated trade with an unnamed woman immediately turned violent. The pair were discussing planned marriage and pregnancy when hostilities escalated due to a comparison in opinions.
” You don’t understand the magnitude of having a child”, the girl is heard saying in the film, before Craven Antao responddc,” I’m not the one who admitted they would be OK with killing children in foster care and killing babies that have been abused”.
Moments later, the girl immediately launched a series of jabs to Craven Antao’s mouth before storming off, shouting” Suck my d–k” as she walked away.
The harm left the blogger with a deep reduce on her head and brow, causing blood to flow down her face and torso. She eventually revealed on social media that she had been treated at a local doctor and received stitches for the damage.
” I was really assaulted in Harlem interviewing people on the street. In officer vehicles. Heading to doctor. Updates immediately. ABORTION SUPPORTERS ARE VIOLENT”! she posted on her cultural media, alongside images of herself in the back of a police vehicle.
Her father, Henry Antao, condemned the attack in a statement shared with Life Action.
” My wife … was assaulted by a pro-abortion woman we were interviewing. The lady became aggressive and violent upon learning Savannah’s pro-life stance”, he said. He added that he contacted 911 and shared both pictures and a depiction of the suspect with the NYPD.
Earlier in the meeting, the same person had apparently shouted” f–k the police” and argued that ending a conception is preferable to sending a child into foster care.
Craven Antao after reassured her fans, writing,” Damaged, but blessed. I AM OKAY! I love you all thank you for the support”.
As of now, the NYPD has not issued an upgrade on the research.
