Maher did anything extraordinary during his” Club Random” radio with Chris Cuomo on Sunday: he really praised Trump’s political performance. This is nothing short of amazing, coming from one of Trump’s harshest detractors.
Trump “is one of the most powerful politicians,” he said. What do you think of the policy and him as a people? Only as a politician, simply understanding that you should always move in to being more who you are.

No one expects Maher to start wearing a MAGA hat or entirely abandon his extreme left-wing positions despite all of this, but this unexpected applause for Trump suggests a possible crack in the media’s wall of anger.  ,
