Kristi Noem, the secretary of homeland security, strained herself as she evaded a push from a suspect as she assisted in the arrest of three illegal migrants with significant criminal records on Tuesday during an early day immigration raid in Phoenix, Arizona.
Around 100 national officials from different agencies were involved in the early morning activity, according to The New York Post, including ICE’s Enforcement and Removal Operations, Homeland Security Investigations, the FBI, and the DEA.
Noem thanked officers in a dark underground car area while guiding the caravan in a BearCat armored vehicle. He was dressed in military officers equipment and wore a gold Rolex. Noem was quoted by the Post as saying,” This teamwork between companies is about to be supercharged.” Noem continued,” Someone around illegally and committing crimes may face real effects.”
She reportedly offered them more help as she shaken hands with the police. She said,” The cooperation between organizations is about to increase across the country.”
Jose Escobar-Robles, one of the suspects detained, is accused of running a money fraud band connected to Mexican drug cartels.
He began kicking Noem as he was being taken into custody while raising his Croc sneaker to avoid being caught. The moment she dodged the blows, according to the New York Post, she quietly responded and said, “You’re never scaring me with your Croc… you’re gonna come home, and you’re gonna get prosecuted.”
Escobar-Robles officially expressed frustration by exclaiming, “let’s come, let’s go,” to agents while attempting to protect his face.
Bonifacio Renteria-Cruz, a different assume, is said to have ties to the Sinaloa Cartel and a history of violent violence. According to DHS leaders, he had formerly been deported in 2008 and wanted for homicide in Mexico.
Luis Garcia-Sanchez, the second suspect, was connected to the harsh 18th Street Gang and had persistent felony drug charges dating up to 1987. He had now received a twice-compensated US removal order. He spoke from the backseat of a policeman car and said he didn’t like his children to follow his lead.
Noem responded,” Get deal with the consequences of breaking the law around.” Provide them an indication of how to be better.
Noem is actively participating in industry functions as part of the Trump administration’s stricter immigration enforcement.
