Did you know that this year, Walmart is boycotting it? I also didn’t. Yawning.
However, I ended up on the Newsweek site, which is similar to Walmart Blackoutpalooza, because I was looking for information on a different subject. Really, Newsweek has published about a dozen stories about it, with the exception of a few local and foreign media stores.  ,

You get what you’re getting. It must be a great deal, given quite breathless reporting, don’t you think? I believe the “news” shop has more articles about this than they do about the taxes.  ,  ,
Also, it turns out that The People’s Union organized this alleged protest because it is not a “progressive advocacy dress,” as our own Stephen Green, aka VodkaPundit, aka VodkaPundit, aka VodkaPundit, aka VodkaPundit, or, is. Additionally, there is only one man. And it’s the same organization that, as far as I can show, started the “nationwide financial shutdown” again on February 28. It resulted in a lot of everything. Here’s more from Steve in February: Â Â ; Â ; Â ; Â ; Â ; Â ; Â ; Â ;;

I did a little drilling into The Women’s Union ( as opposed to a union ) to find out what kind of monetary authority it possesses. I’ll be honest and say that Jeff Bezos isn’t having any sleep over the country’s economic shutdown. As far as I can tell, The People’s Union ( not a union ) is led by a man by the name of John ( he wants you to call him Jai ) and has a nice website.
The People’s Union is a progressive lobbying organization because the majority of the site is dedicated to advancing the traditional causes like direct democracy and “free” health care, which is why I mentioned above that it is not a union ( it isn’t ) but is a progressive advocacy organization.  ,
Although neither Jai nor The People’s Union ( a union ) have an official presence on X, he did post a number of low-follower accounts earlier this week promoting his most recent TikTok video. His Bluesky bill has 293 fans, which seems a lot. However, we’re talking about Bluesky, but even 293 followers is a lot. I’m not sure.
I looked up this John/Jai person on my own, and he does have a pretty large Instagram next. Additionally, he appears to prefer to be captivated by focus over making any sort of coherent argument. His comments contain the majority of his videos, which contain his profanity, spreading democratic conspiracy theories, and acknowledging his anti-everything views. It’s actually pretty everywhere. Just to be sure, Newsweek is on his payment. I wager that, in any case, more people would be ready to ban Newsweek than Walmart. However, many people probably already do that freely.  ,  ,

But up to the ban itself. Here is the affirmation John/Jai sent to Newsweek explaining his motivation for it. I’m not yet convinced it makes sense.  ,  ,
We’re boycotting Walmart because they’ve become the epitome of everything that’s wrong with corporate authority in this region. Our goal is straightforward: we want these companies to start paying their fair share of taxes so that the American people can be finally free of the problem of federal income tax.
Without question, we’re also pressing for universal, true justice. This ban aims to demonstrate to them that we are the market. We support their advancement. And we can always change our spending to local organizations or to stop shopping altogether. They must begin treating the people who keep them in company with respect if they want our money.
Walmart even provided a speech to Newsweek:  .
Walmart’s goal is to help people keep money and live healthier, and it is at the heart of its mission. As one of the nation’s largest corporate citizens, we not only receive our fair share, but we also act as a multiplier by supporting local charities and causes like conservation, workforce development, and job creation, supplier growth, and over$ 1.7 billion in cash and in-kind funds last year, equal to 8 % of our income before taxes. We continue to work hard to earn the respect of all Americans while dedicating our time and resources to triggers that advance and join areas that rely on us every day.

Anyway, if you want to ban Walmart along with the so-called” The People’s Union,” which is actually just this dude who likes to picture himself talking, you need to stay away from “retail stores, online platforms, private logo brands, store and health services, financial services, inventory clubs, subscription services, grocery delivery and pick-up” — pretty much everything related to Walmart and Sam’s Club. And you must continue to do so until April 14.  ,
Or you can conduct your business as a regular person who won’t be distracted by this foolishness. Just go to Sam’s or Walmart this week if you need to. If you want, repeat it two or three times.  ,
Want to support our goal of remaining one of the most influential conservative voices in new media while also enjoying some fantastic benefits? Yes, I’m about to ask you for money, but it’s significantly less than you’re probably anticipating.  ,
