President Donald Trump is “probably finished,” according to US Attorney General Pam Bondi on Sunday, even as he continues to propose running for office for a second word.
Bondi praised the president’s leadership during an exam with Shannon Bream on Fox News Sunday, calling him a “very bright man” and offering individual help for his ongoing management.
Before acknowledging the constitutional restrictions, she said,” I wish we could have him as our senator for 20 years.” However, she continued,” I believe he’ll be finished probably after this term.”
When asked why she chose the phrase “probably,” Bondi hesitantly said,” We’d had to look at the Constitution.”
Trump has made a number of notes about staying in business past the legal limit. He asked,” Am I allowed to run once” during a House Republican flee in Florida earlier this year. More recently, he claimed in an interview with NBC News that he was” no joking” about the prospect and that some close aides were looking into “methods” to make it happen.
However, there is little to be fear in the US Constitution. No man may become elected to the presidency’s business more than half, according to the 22nd amendment, which was ratified in 1951.
