There is a common phrase in Washington, D.C., called “beltway pirate.” Any of the hundreds of consulting and service companies whose main business model is to profit from social connections to win government contracts is a ring pirate. A significant portion of that company depends on the company’s assurance that any reports generated by those contracts will accomplish two things. The contracting company’s goals can only be met if it receives significantly more money, and the reports did accurately state what the client company believes is in their best attention.

The U.S. Global Change Research Program ( USGCRP ), which was “established by Congress in 1990 to coordinate federal research and investments in understanding and responding to the forces shaping the global environment, both human and natural, and their impacts on society,” was recently covered by The , Daily Wire. The USGCRP is a coalition of no fewer than 15 government agencies and organizations, most prominently those that include the Smithsonian, NASA, the National Science Foundation, the EPA, and USAID.
The entire system has an unexpected sound. International change What has changed? Don’t care. What they mean is” a comprehensive and integrated United States study plan that will assist the Nation and the world in understanding, assessing, predicting, and responding to human-induced and natural methods of international change.”
They categorize climate change into a number of classes before putting them together in their monthly study project called *Our Changing Planet* ( the 2025 system is documented here ), which of course means what they mean, of course. This, along with ensuring that issues of diversity, equity, and inclusion are significant issues that need to be addressed.
In the budget request to study change, USGCRP receives about$ 5 billion. Cpt, LLC, a publicly traded on the NASDAQ, is one of USGCRP’s major companies, and it is contracted to develop the National Climate Assessment, which Politico’s E&, E News refers to as the” king jewel” of U.S. climate research.  ,

Okay, but a politically established “research job” of the U.S. government is working with a consulting firm with political connections to produce a socially appropriate research report. ( Daily Wire couldn’t locate any ICF members who made significant contributions to Democrats, but many of them did. ) Since this is a news item, it’s probably on par with reporting that the first day of this week’s has a name that ends in” Y.”
The Office of Management and Budget, which is overseeing the National Climate Assessment, USGCRP’s most significant weather statement, is now under the control of Politico, which is what draws attention.  ,
