Vice President JD Vance’s new provocative visit at the US’ Pituffik Space Base in Greenland has been “undermining” the VP. Col. Susan Meyers sent an email to all of her staff members after JD Vance’s attend informing them that the basic management did not share the evil government’s problems.
In response to Donald Trump’s shite for taking over Greenland, both Greenland and Denmark disapprove of JD Vance’s visit because it was a political attend. Second Lady Usha Vance was supposed to take her on a social trip, but the Greenland state also objected, saying that was inappropriate. They also questioned the objective and scheduling of the visit. JD Vance made the decision to travel to Pituffik with their friend Usha Vance. JD criticized Denmark in the same language that Trump uses when he said,” You have not done a good job by the people of Greenland.”
Meyers wrote to the bottom workers a few days after Vance’s visit to let them know that his remarks did not represent the bottom leadership’s views.
In a message sent to all basic officers on March 31st, she wrote,” I do not presume to understand current elections, but what I do know is that the problems of the U.S. management discussed by Vice President Vance on Friday do not reflect Pituffik Space Base.” The base’s employees, some of whom are from Canada, Denmark, and Greenland, were sent an email from Meyers ‘ email to both the troops and civilians. She stated to them,” I spent the weekend thinking about Friday’s visit, the words used, and how it must have affected each of you.” All of our flags will fly proudly together, according to Meyers, adding,” I commit that, for as long as I am lucky enough to lead this base,”
Meyers ‘ letter to the base personnel was published on Military .com. A Pentagon spokesman said Meyers had been fired the same day in a statement posted by the Space Force for “lost confidence in her ability to lead.”
In a post on the social media platform X that included a link to the Military .com article, spokesman Sean Parnell wrote,” Actions taken to undermine the chain of command or subvert President Trump’s agenda will not be tolerated at the Department of Defense.”
The Space Force stated in a statement that” commandanders are expected to perform to the highest standards of conduct, especially when it comes to performing their duties without being biased.
