Two people were killed and nine people injured in a killing at 5th Avenue Park in Conway on Sunday night, regional authorities said.
The incident occurred at the capital area, located about 27 miles northwest of Little Rock. Conway authorities confirmed the deaths in a Facebook post, saying that all nine injured persons were in steady state at area hospitals.
The park, famous for its park, hockey courts, and burst pad, was apparently occupied when the shooting happened.
On Monday night, a police department spokesperson declined to provide further information, including whether any offenders have been identified or what may have triggered the crime.
The investigation is ongoing.
