Federal authorities swords subsidies for programs that mislead children about culture change

Its focus on ominous environment settings promotes fear rather than a logical, sensible conversation. Also, the president’s priorities are misaligned when using federal funds to support these stories, including education initiatives aimed at K-12 learners. These activities will no longer be funded by NOAA.
Leslie Eastman of Legal Insurrection praised the decision, calling the idea “nothing more than the ginned-up dream fear of the life important known as carbon dioxide.”

Other factors point to the overreach of some Gen Zers regarding climate change.
According to a Lancet Planetary Health study conducted in 2024, “very or extremely concerned” about climate change are 57 % of Americans between the ages of 16 and 25.

The course site claims that the program aims to fill a significant difference in culture knowledge and well-being by drawing on the science of personal and social resilience and climate change action, creating a sense of belonging, and inspiring empowerment and self-efficacy through meaningful projects.
But, as The Fix recently reported, scientists and academics have questioned the necessity of being overly concerned with climate change.
