Vice leader JD Vance unintentionally toppled the College Football Playoff National Championship medal during a festive celebration honoring the Ohio State Buckeyes on Monday, causing a playful blunder outside the White House.
As the group posed for photos with President Donald Trump, Vance lifted the prize for the cameras only for the best to fall to the ground, causing gasps from the crowd as the center hit the road as the medals bottom came free.
The Buckeyes, who defeated Notre Dame 34-23 to get the regional name in January, were receiving official recognition for their accomplishments. Vince remarked,” I didn’t want anyone to find the prize after Ohio State, so I decided to break it.”
Go manager Ryan Day described the visit as an “honor,” marking a last party before the season begins, despite debate about whether the staff would make the trip.
Important plays on the offensive before for Ohio State include quarterback Will Howard, large receiver Emeka Egbuka, and running backs TreVeyon Henderson and Quinshon Judkins, all of whom are leaving for the NFL Draft.
Before turning the page on a final time, the crew had one last time of cohesion during the White House visit.
