NEW DELHI: The Bloach insurgents hijacked Pakistan‘s Jaffar Express previous month using US arms, which American troops left behind during the hasty withdrawal from Afghanistan in 2021, reported Washington Post.
Weapons were left behind by United States forces following their 2021 departure from Afghanistan. Among the weapons recovered from the picture was an M4A1 weapon weapons manufactured by Colt, an American hands manufacturer, ARY News reported.
The gun’s serial number officially confirmed that it was previously supplied to US forces in Afghanistan and eventually left behind during the turbulent removal.
The Bloach Liberation Army ( BLA ) opened fire on a passenger train in southwestern Pakistan on March 11, injuring the train driver. The coach with over 400 people aboard was traveling from Quetta in Balochistan province to Peshawar in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa when it came under attack.
Save teams and security forces arrived at the scene, launching an activity which went on for more than 24 hours. The Pakistan protection officials said that no traveler was hurt and” the number of people who fell prey to the savagery of the jihadists is 21″.
” On March 11 in Bolan, jihadists targeted a railroad track around 1pm and blew it up and stopped the Jaffar Express. According to rail officers, the train had 440 people”, he said while speaking in an appointment on Dunya News.
Chaudhry said the army, air power, Frontier Corps (FC) and the Special Services Group had taken piece and recovered the victims. He added that no traveler was hurt in the last certification activity, but before that,” the number of individuals who fell prey to the savagery of the jihadists is 21″.
” These extremists were in contact with their adherents and schemers in Afghanistan during the procedure via satellite telephone. You saw that around 100 people were safely rescued yesterday night from the jihadists, and now as well, a large number of people have been recovered”, he said, adding that the procedure continued frequently.
For decades, dissident militant groups in Balochistan have waged an insurrection, generally targeting the authorities, troops, and Chinese interests while demanding a greater share of the country’s material wealth. The BLA has sought independence, accusing the government of exploiting Balochistan’s abundant gas and mineral resources.
