The mind of the UN’s nuclear watchdog was scheduled to arrive in the Islamic Republic on Wednesday, with Iran’s president formally approving the departure of one of his vice president who served as Tehran’s important mediator in its 2015 nuclear deal with earth power.
Mohammad Javad Zarif was made public late on Tuesday by President Masoud Pezeshkian as Iran prepares for a second round of agreements with the United States over its rapidly advancing nuclear programme.

That departure had been rejected by the leader.
However, a statement from the president revealed that Zarif had received a letter praising him and accepting his resignation later on Tuesday.
According to a declaration from the president,” Pezeshkian emphasized that his administration can no longer benefit from Zarif’s useful knowledge and expertise.”
Mohsen Ismaili, 59, was chosen as the president’s fresh vice chairman for corporate interests in a decree. The leader has several vice president in Iran’s social structure. Ismaili is regarded as a mild politician and constitutional expert.
Grossi’s visit comes as Iran has a ban on IAEA exposure. Grossi was scheduled to arrive in Tehran to meet with Pezeshkian and people.
Iran has abandoned all restrictions on its system and has uranium enriched to up to 60 % beauty- close to weapons-grade levels of 90 % since the nuclear deal broke down in 2018 with Trump’s punitive withdrawal from the authority.
The IAEA installed security cameras, but Iran has barred some of the firm’s most knowledgeable inspectors from the Vienna-based organization. Iranian leaders have also been making exceedingly strong threats that they may do nuclear weapons, something that the West and the IAEA have been concerned about for years since Tehran abandoned its prepared weapons programme in 2003.

Meanwhile, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi on Wednesday issued a warning to the United States about adopting contradicting positions during the discussions.
That is likely in reference to comments made by U.S. Mideast minister Steve Witkoff, who earlier this week suggested a deal that could lead to Iran returning to 3.6 % uranium enrichment, as in the Obama administration’s 2015 agreement. Therefore Hitkoff added that a deal with Iran won’t be completed until it is a Trump offer.
He wrote on the social media platform X that” Iran has stop and reduce its nuclear enhancement and weaponization program.” ” President Trump has asked me to create a strong, good deal that will endure, and that is what it is important for the world to do.”
Araghchi cautioned America against adopting any” contradictory and opposing positions” during the discussions.
” Enrichment is a real and accepted issue, and we are ready to build trust about potential concerns,” Araghchi said. However, it is” not negotiable” to lose the right to enrich at all.
