'Criminal contempt': US judge slams Trump administration for deporting Venezuelans despite court order

Despite the prosecutor issuing a temporary restraining order to stop the deportations, a US federal prosecutor said on Wednesday that he had found “probable reason” to keep President Donald Trump’s administration in” legal disdain” for deporting alleged users of Venezuelan groups to El Salvador.
District determine James Boasberg cited “evidence” of the federal government “engaged in a deliberate or foolish disregard” by continuing the planes despite the restraining order in a written view, according to AFP news agency.
Plaintiffs intentionally disregarded this judge’s written order and, individually, its oral command, which expressly stated what compliance entailed, according to Boasberg, who “provided no compelling reason to avoid the conclusion that appears apparent.”
The president’s actions, according to the judge, were sufficient to establish that probable cause exists for the government to be found in violation of the law.
Boasberg, however, gave the Trump administration one last chance to “purge for disdain” or face additional court proceedings.
On March 15, the prosecutor had issued a temporary restraining order to stop the persecution that were carried out in violation of the 1798 Alien Enemies Act. The obscuring military law eliminates the customary legal process.
White House plans to make an “immediate” charm.
The White House stated that it would appeal the city judge’s decision “immediately.”
” We intend to request immediate appealing pleasure. The leader is” 100 percent” committed to preventing terrorists and illegal immigrants from becoming a threat to Americans and their communities across the nation, according to White House communications director Steven Cheung in a statement released following the decision.
Trump claimed he was targeting” international groups” he had declared international criminal businesses, but the Alien Enemies Act had only been used recently during the Wars of 1812, World War I, and World War II.
Lawyers for a number of the deported Venezuelans denied their customers were crew members and claimed they had committed no crimes and were primarily targeted “on the basis of their tattoos” ( on the basis of their tattoos ).
