On Good Friday, Vice President JD Vance expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to spend some time in Rome. However, he was immediately criticized as a false Christian because he wed Hindu and Indian-born Usha Vance. His Hindu bridal photo, in which he was seen wearing traditional American garb and garland, was re-upped to insult the vice president.
” I’m appreciative of my job every day, but especially today, when I was traveling to Rome on Good Friday due to my official duties. I had a great time meeting with Meloni and her team, and I’m excited to travel to church in this gorgeous city immediately with my family,” said JD Vance.
A fortunate Good Friday to all Christians around the world, but especially those who are already Christians here in the US. He wrote,” He died so that we might live.”
The second Asian-American and the first Hindu Second Lady have been mocked for their religion and their Indian roots, but this is not the first time. Usha Vance just broke her silence about the storyline that “normalizes American love” and said she finds it horrifying.
Do I think it’s great when folks talk about “normalizing American love” or something similar? Definitely no. In an interview with The Free Press, Usha Vance said,” I think it’s terrible. In the same discussion, she stated that these racist problems are not recent. She said,” I think our connection to this data is probably new,” referring to the explosion of social media, which gives words to this troll.
During the vote, numerous MAGA officials, primarily white supremacists, launched a hate campaign against Usha. The Coalition of Hindus of North America was forced to release a speech outlining the homophobic language used against Usha Vance.
