First Gabbard, Now Noem? Thief Targets DHS Secretary During Easter Dinner

Next month, I wrote about how a fugitive was threatening to kill Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard and her father via a series of violent language communications and social media posts. Fortunately, that person is in FBI prison. Unfortunately, Department of Homeland Security ( DHS) Secretary Kristi Noem is the latest target of criminal activity.  

Noem was enjoying an Easter dinner with her relatives, including her children and grandchildren, at a diner in Washington, D. C. , on Sunday evening, when” an mysterious white man wearing a medical face” stole her bag and left the restaurant. The event was captured on security camera footage and has been reviewed by the Secret Service, which has launched an investigation.  

The products inside the bag make this event a bit more concerning. According to CNN, the bag contained the usual personal items that may put people on top — her driver’s license, passport, house keys, plain checks, and treatment. It also contained$ 3,000 in dollars. And she happened to own her DHS access symbol in, too.  

Noem was in presence at the White House Easter Egg Roll now, and when reporters asked her about the affair, she acknowledged that it had happened, but that it had not been resolved. DHS Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin also confirmed the knowledge to NewsNation. The DHS minister has never made any other public remarks about the matter, but she did publish a wonderful family Easter image on X yesterday.

As someone who has carried a bag containing sensitive information into a diner thousands of times, I’m wondering as to how this happened. I never let it out of my vision, yet if I have to keep it in my shoulder, and I’d probably be a little more cautious if I were one of the most powerful people in the country.

I’m also interested as to whether this was a strange theft, or if it was a qualified attack, though given the way the remaining acts these days— and the fact that there was no mention of this “unknown light male” grabbing another women’s purses from the restaurant — I’m assuming it was targeted.  

Either way, these individual attacks must stop.  

As I said, last year, I reported that a 24-year-old criminal named Aliakbar Mohammed Amin from Lilburn, Ga. ,” sent several menacing text information to Gabbard and her father, Abraham Williams. They said things like ‘ You and your family are going to die soon’ and ‘ I will privately do the job if needed. ‘ He likewise said,’ Death to America means death to America actually, Tulsi is living on borrowed day,’ and’Prepare to death, you, Tulsi, and people you hold dear. America will burn. ‘ Amin even went as far as to post a picture of him pointing a gun at a photo of Gabbard and Williams on his social media accounts. ”  

Unfortunately, I haven’t heard one single leader in the Democrat Party condemn this kind of behavior, and it feels like it’s only a matter of time before threats and theft become more serious.
