After being stabbed by a 15-year-old fellow student at school, a 16-year-old Virginia high school student was stabbed in the head. The pupil was taken to a hospital with lethal injury.
Officers with the Fairfax County Police Department confirmed that the sufferer is now in stable condition at a press conference held following the West Potomac High School event in Alexandria, People reported.
Both kids are minors, so their names were not made public.
According to Fairfax County Police Maj. Elizabeth Melendez,” Three kids got into a real struggle inside the university and one 16-year-old prey was stabbed.” According to Melendez, a college resource officer “was with the target right away, and more officers were on the field right away.”
At the time of the media event, no other people were alleged to be involved in the stabbing despite the fact that the suspect had been taken into custody.
Melendez said of the 15-year-old,” He will become charged with malignant wounding.”
After the sufferer was taken to a nearby hospital, police continued to research at West Potomac High School.
The knife was recovered from the “very effective criminal analysis,” according to Police Chief Kevin Davis. He added that in the times following the stabbing, school staff “acted with a sense of continuous urgency” to defend the kids.

After the 15-year-old was taken off campus, groups continued to be in session and the position was contained.
Michelle Reid, the county’s director, claimed at the press briefing that team members were monitoring the students and that meal was being held on a different schedule. She added that students and employees could also get pain counseling.

One family who did not appear on camera in the officers agency’s video expressed resentment toward Reid’s reaction and the “lockdown” policy at the school, which forbid them from picking up his daughter who was “freaking out in it.”
Davis even confirmed that a picture of the altercation has been shared on social media.
