When Steve Martin officially corrected The New York Times and Crossword for labeling him as a member of the high-IQ world Mensa, he wasn’t being a jackass.
The star of” Jerk” and” Only Murders in the Building” posted a photo of the recent crossword puzzle,” Elite group whose members include Geena Davis and Steve Martin.”
” Hey NYT crossword, FYI, I’m not a member of Mensa and never have been.” Just a regler ( sic ) guy, claimed the 79-year-old Emmy winner.
Rita Wilson, an actress who co-starred with Martin in the 1994 darker funny” Mixed Nuts,” claimed in the comments that she had seen the idea and believed he had been “keeping secrets.”
A lover claimed that they had been informed that DENSA, a companion business for the rest of us, existed.
Although Martin may not be a member of Mensa’s “global community of about 150, 000 highly intelligent people,” Genna Davis, the Oscar winner, is well-known.
Nolan Gould, alumna of” Modern Family,” and Kara Hayward, a star of” Moonrise Kingdom,” are another famous Mensa stars.
