Jillian Lauren, the woman of Weezer bassist Scott Shriner, was shot during a turbulent fight in the Eagle Rock neighborhood earlier this month, according to police images from the arrest.
During the April 8 event, Los Angeles Police Department officers and the California Highway Patrol searched for three defendants who had fled a local car accident while Lauren, 51, suffered non-life-threatening injury. She was detained on suspicion of attempted murder and later released on a$ 1 million bond. On April 30, she is scheduled to show up in court.
On Friday, the LAPD released 911 dispatch music, surveillance footage from backyards, and open body camera recordings. Officers are reportedly warning Lauren to cut her tool when they hear a helicopter’s rumbling. A police officer may be heard saying, “Ma’am, we’re trying to help you,” despite the fact that a large wooden gate blocks a clear perspective. Hold the weapon down. You’re going to be shot. It’s the officers, I suppose.
An officer immediately makes the noise of at least six shots as they say,” Oh, she racked it,” referring to the snapping of a weapon.
Separate passive surveillance video shows Lauren exiting her house while outdoors and holding a pistol. Before soil appears to blow up at her feet in another video, which she watches as she lifts the gun, causing her to flee home.
More bodycam video shows Lauren lying on the side of the road, being handcuffed by police and mentioning a wound to her shoulder.
Jillian Lauren is best known for her bestsellers Everything You Ever Wanted ( 2015 ) and Some Girls: My Life in a Harem ( 2010 ). In the early 2000s, her husband Scott Shriner teamed up with Weezer, a well-known Los Angeles-based group best known for their 1994″ Blue Album.”
