Through its Interdiction for the Protection of Children ( IPC ) Program, DPS officials reported that in April, DPS personnel “have rescued more than 600 children through its Interdiction for the Protection of Children ( IPC ) Program.” According to DPS, Protocol soldiers are trained to identify children who have been abused, missing, abused, or are in high-risk of being threatened with harm.

Tipsters must submit a tip via Facebook, the DPS website, or by calling the Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-800-252-TIPS ( 8477 ) to be eligible for cash rewards.
