Another of the seemingly endless series of articles describing the West’s social murder was the LA Times article. Based on the idea that the West has been uniquely violent, even genocidal, and hateful, while the ( predominally Islamic ) East has been more sinned against than sinned, and they all reflect a wisdom and nobility that we have lost. Today, it is a great deal to make Americans feel bad about their past and lifestyle. And nothing positive can come from it.
Several other American leaders are as aware of this as Donald Trump does. He isn’t afraid to discuss it or take legal action against it sometimes. As part of Trump’s America-First initiative, it would be a noble effort to instill some confidence in Americans in regard to Christopher Columbus and the conquering effects of European colonization in North America. After all, why would anyone want to prioritize America when everyone’s education focused on how bad America has been? One of Trump’s most significant efforts would be if he were to end the sensation of Americans being guilty of their own culture and heritage.
