
The feared prank pilot, Rob Holland, died on Thursday when his helicopter crashed at a , U.S. Air Force Base , in , Virginia , times before an upcoming air present.
The collision took place as Holland’s empirical MX Aircraft MXS was approaching Joint Base Langley-Eustis around 11:39 a.m. Holland was the only man to board the two-seater.
The investigation into the fall, which is unfamiliar, is being led by the National Transportation Safety Board. The investigation is being aided by the Federal Aviation Administration and the Department of Defense.
According to a statement posted on his official Facebook page,” Rob was one of the most reputed and inspiring aerobatic planes in aviation history.” Rob was the most humble man with a singular purpose of just being better than he was yesterday, despite having an absolutely amazing list of accomplishments, both in the traditional rivals world and in the air show world.
Holland’s passing comes just before the air present scheduled for this weekend, Air Power Over Hampton Roads, which is scheduled for this trip. Holland took a flight at the 2023 occasion.
The basic confirmed the fatal collision and claimed that it was connected to the air show.
According to Col. Matthew Altman, the captain of Joint Base Langley-Eustis,” Now we lost a friend of our, Air Force, and family,” said a statement. ” I want to express our deepest sympathy to the family and friends of this extraordinary aviator on behalf of our whole JBLE team.”
