The Eagles did not participate in the classic final event at the White House after their last Super Bowl win in 2018 because the White House rescinded the offer amid a disagreement over standing for the national song and a time change for the occasion. However, Eagles running back Saquon Barkley has been scrutinized for playing golf with Trump at the president ’s lessons in Bedminster, New Jersey, on the trip before flying on Air Force One with him to Washington on Sunday.
“You got the ball to your superstar running up, who I met yesterday, and I want to show you, he is a beautiful man, but I did n’t need to address him — Saquon Barkley, ” Trump said Monday.
