The Eagles defeated the Kansas City Chiefs 40-22 in New Orleans this February, in a sport attended by both Trump and Swift, who was there to help her boyfriend, Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce.
During the game, Swift was loudly booed when she appeared on the jumbotron at Caesars Superdome in the first third, while Trump, who made history as the first sitting president to attend a Super Bowl, was apparently cheered by fans.
“ I was watching in person. I was there along with Taylor Swift— how did that work up? How did that a work out? ” Trump remarked to laugh from the crowd gathered at the White House.
“The just one that had a tougher nights than the Kansas City Chiefs was Taylor Swift. She got BOOED out of the Stadium. MAGA is extremely cruel! ” the leader had said on social media following the match.
The tensions between the two numbers took on new social pounds during the 2024 vote when Swift officially endorsed Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris.
“Like many of you, I watched the argument now, ” Swift wrote on Instagram in September. “ I will be casting my voting for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz in the 2024 National Election. I’m voting for @kamalaharris because she fights for the right and causes I believe needed a hero to champ them. ”
Swift signed the article as “Childless Cat Lady, ” a noted response to admonish Trump’s then-vice political running mate, JD Vance, for his remarks about women without children, like herself.
While the event included a democratic undertone, no all brand looks were controversial.

Eagles star running back Saquon Barkley, who had faced criticism after visiting Trump over the weekend at his Bedminster, New Jersey, golf membership, arrived in Washington aboard Air Force One and then traveled to the White House via Marine One alongside the leader.
“Some people are really upset ’cause I played golf and flew to the White House with the PRESIDENT, ” Barkley wrote on X. “Maybe I really respect the office — not a difficult concept to understand. Only golfed with Obama not too long ago … and look forward to finishing my square with Trump! Then y’all get out my mentions with all this elections and have an amazing time. ”
