A 21-year-old American undergraduate from Dera Bassi, Punjab, was discovered dead at a beachfront in Ottawa, Canada, under mysterious circumstances.
The bereaved, identified as Vanshika Saini, was the daughter of Davinder Saini, an AAP MLA Kuljit Singh Randhawa secretary, and had been a student in Ottawa for the past two and a half centuries.
Authorities are still looking into the circumstances surrounding her dying after her body was discovered on an Ottawa shore. In a Facebook post on Sunday, the Ottawa Indo-Canadians Association ( OICA ) posted a missing person alert for Vanshika.

After graduating from Class XII, Vanshika relocated to Canada to pursue a two-year certificate program. She had spent the previous two and a half decades it.
She had begun working part-time and had finished her last exams on April 18. She left for work on April 22 but not arrived home.
On April 25, Vanshika was scheduled to take an IELTS test. After the interview, her friends discovered that she had been missing for three days.
All of her phone’s attempts to contact her sounded dead, with her cellphone remained unresponsive.
Vanshika’s associates became suspicious after the departure, which led to a search function by local government and the Indian High Commission.
Her Indian family firmly believes there was bad perform and asserts that she was killed. They want American regulators to launch a thorough investigation into her dying.
