Jagmeet Singh, the pro-Khalistan leader of Canada’s New Democratic Party (NDP), broke down in tears on stage as he announced his resignation following a humiliating defeat in the federal elections.
He also lost his own chair, Burnaby Central, and his party was unable to secure the 12-seat required to maintain national party standing in Parliament. Singh won three votes in his district, and the NDP lost just seven of its 24 seats.
Singh, who was shedding tears, declared,” It’s been the honor of my career to guide the NDP… I’m disappointed that we were unable to secure more votes. He will serve as interim president until a replacement is found.
Singh publicly supported Khalistani separatists during his tenure, demanded a ban on the Indian Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh ( RSS), and pressured former prime minister Justin Trudeau to oust Indian diplomats following the death of Khalistani separatist Hardeep Singh Nijjar. He also urged Canada to appoint sanctions against Indian officials, a practice that was commonly dissented in India.
On social press, he received applause for his collapse.

What factors do you consider more when selecting a president?
That absolute donkey Jagmeet Singh lost his own seat ( came third, not even the second place ), led his party from 18 % to 6 %, lost national party status, and now resigns in disgrace, according to a user on X. Fine day, folks!
Another claimed that” Khalistani Jagmeet Singh lost from the couch in Burnaby Central.” His party no longer serves as a federal party. A massive blast to Pakistan.
Another person shared a joke claiming that Jagmeet Singh had brought down the NDP on his own and came third in his own riding.
One user wrote,” BIG BREAKING: Khalistani Jagmeet Singh defeated. India’s massive success HUGE SETBACK for Justin Trudeau’s political career.
While another said,” Khalistani Jagmeet Singh defeated, takes down his group with him.” NDP loses its position as a nation. He is accused of using proxy to fuel violence in Punjab and Haryana.
A turning point in Canadian local politics was Jagmeet Singh’s demise, as well as a reversal of Khalistani effect in Ottawa.
