According to an investigation conducted by the student newspaper, almost a hundred Northwestern University top officials recently had their work titles changed to remove any references to variety, capital, and participation.
Robert Brown, the former chairman of diversity, equity, participation, and mentoring, has been appointed as director of studying and corporate strategy among the changes. Brown declined to comment on whether his jobs have changed as well as his new work name to The College Fix.
In another case, Sheehan Fisher, who served as the Graduate School’s associate professor of diversity and inclusion, has been appointed as the Office of Graduate and Postdoctoral Success ‘ associate professor.
Fisher directed The College Fix’s inquiries to Northwestern’s press affairs sector, which has not responded to numerous emails and phone calls requesting comment.

The article was published the day after news reports revealed that Northwestern University received$ 790 million in federal money from the Trump administration due to antisemitism and La concerns.
The Trump administration has certainly made a list of needs for NU to restore its cash, according to a report from the Daily Northwestern on April 22. The Education Department is still looking into the University for alleged Title VI breaches related to antisemitism.
The decision to change the job titles may have been influenced by the cash ice.
According to the Daily Northwestern, the Graduate School’s name changed, as well, and six team members ‘ names were “having their names shortened to remove all references to diversity and inclusion.”
The Daily found three situations where names were changed to prevent using diversity and inclusion terminology within the Feinberg School of Medicine, the news continued.

However, as lawsuits challenging Trump’s directive make their way through the courts, federal judges last week imposed temporary injunctions against enforcing those injunctions.
A campus spokesperson for the school said in a statement to the Daily that it is still” committed to making sure that students, faculty, and staff enjoy a community that is welcoming to all.”
At least 28 colleges and universities have renamed or renamed their DEI offices, according to Defending Education, a nonprofit advocacy organization. The use of alternative words is gaining popularity, including “access,” “advocacy,” “belonging,”” community,” “resilience,” and” success.”
