‘Poilievre sounds like mini-Trump’: What Canadian voters had to say about election

'Poilievre sounds like mini-Trump': What Canadian voters had to say about election
Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney and Pierre Poilievre’s rival

Pierre Poilievre, the head of the Conservative Party, defeated Mark Carney in the election on Monday, making him the prime minister of Canada.
US President Donald Trump had a significant influence on the results of this poll. His repeated risks, such as enlisting Canada as a 51st State and imposing taxes, have questioned the new leader’s legitimacy among voters.
The French won the election in Pierre Poilievre’s favor over Mark Carney.
What the officials ‘ supporters said about them:
Who I voted for would, in my opinion, take care of Trump the best, according to a person.
Reid Warren cited the group as the best option in the face of economic uncertainty in casting his Democratic voting in Toronto.
He said while casting his ballot in Toronto,” I don’t believe there is a better decision right now.” Poilievre is the same, like, soundbites that you get from anyone else, as I know folks believe it. It sounds to me like a mini-Trump.
Warren, a worker at a general food distribution center, acknowledged the strength of Indians because” all the color is being thrown from the States,” but added that “it’s definitely caused some turmoil, that’s for sure.
Duncan Garrow, a native of Toronto, expressed concern over repeated American characterizations of Canada as the “51st state” and other insulting remarks, suggesting that these statements merited serious consideration.
This might be a good thing for Canada in a very strange, upside-down, distorted way because, in my opinion, there is too much of a connection between us and the United States. They’re best it, they’re usually going to be our cousin, our companion, and, finally, our friend. But considering other options, considering how to reduce some of our own obstacles within Canada, and also considering other countries, I believe that’s a very liberal and healthy way to go ahead.
Laiqa and Mahira Shoaib, two daughters Muslim immigrants who voted in Mississauga, Ontario, both sought change in the election on Monday, which was influenced by Trump’s claims and tax laws.
The daughters, who recently left Pakistan, expressed dissatisfaction with the economic climate and job prospects under democratic leadership.
After casting her ballot, Laiqa Shoaib declared,” It was distinct when we arrived.” We must leave the liberal movement.
Laiqa, 27, a medical worker, voted Conservative while Mahira, 25, a bank employee, voted Traditional, in favor of Poilievre for his business skills.
If Mark Carney wins,” We had undoubtedly been the 51st condition,” she said.
