Elon Musk is no longer working from White House, but not out of DOGE yet
According to Susie Wiles, the White House’s chief of staff, Elon Musk is no longer employed there.

According to the New York Post, Elon Musk is certainly often working from the White House, as Susie Wiles, the White House’s chief of staff, confirmed to the Post that she is coordinating with Elon Musk over the telephone. Elon Musk is not actually present in the White House, according to Wiles, who claims it is not making a lot of a difference in terms of work.
The Eisenhower Executive Office Building is next to the West Wing, but the Department of Government Performance staff are not moving everywhere. They are still employed there.
Elon Musk joined the state with a bang as soon as Trump’s opening, which took place on January 20. Musk immediately began working as a unique authorities employee from the White House. His DOGE axe cut lots of jobs to cut costs as he began speaking at case meetings and accompanying Trump on numerous occasions. Elon Musk began making ideas that his DOGE labor was about to come to an end, and Musk now packed and left the White House before the 100 times of the Trump administration.
Tesla, portrayed by Elon Musk, had a difficult day during his time in charge. Activists who want to kill Elon Musk attacked and set on fire hundreds of Tesla vehicles and properties. Musk did not specify whether his decision to leave the state was prompted by the demonstrations, but he claimed that he would be spending more time with Tesla and less time on government job.
He is never completely excluded. He simply isn’t because current as he once was, according to Wiles.
” The people who are doing this work are around doing good items and paying attention to the details.” He’ll take a small backslide, but he won’t be leaving it at all. And his individuals, Wiles said, are undoubtedly not.
Musk will formally resign in May, but he will continue to serve as the administration’s advisor. Musk is not expected to work for the government for 130 complete weeks this year as a” special government employee.”
Trump told his traders that he would spend a day or two on DOGE and the rest for his other businesses during a Tesla income phone earlier this month. Now that the main work of creating the Department of Government Performance is complete, Musk stated,” Starting next month, I’ll be dedicating much more of my day to Tesla.”
