A contentious” Medical Assistance in Dying Act” that do allow mentally ill individuals with less than six months to choose between taking a lethal cocktail of drugs was passed by the New York State Assembly this year.

The bill was passed en bloc, 81-67, with more than 10 Liberals joining the majority Republicans in rejecting it, according to Gothamist.  ,
A comparable measure passed not so quietly in the New York State Senate next month. State Senate Majority Leader Andrea Stewart-Cousins “acknowledged that the plan has gained momentum over the past few years and that she would discuss it with people,” according to The New York Post‘s report on Tuesday. Yet, she did not specify to the report whether she would ask the Senate to vote on the Assembly expenses.
Another ambiguity is whether Gov. The costs would be signed by another Democrat, Kathryn Hochul.  ,
What is the ugliest thing a man could do to harm themselves or society as a whole, and how can my party make it easier or even more motivating? That is what I just mentioned earlier today. In other words, in way that we haven’t already done a thousand times.
I’m not here to criticize those who are unable to endure their pain or sickness any longer or to tamper with the whispered conversations that occasionally take place between a home and a physician about the chronically ill. It’s between them, their morals, and their God.

However, the state has no business getting involved. Nothing.
I once remarked about Canada’s swiftly expanding MAID service,” and then there are floor beams going straight to doom.”
The MAID legislation in Canada was passed in 2021, restricting “access” to death to those who were both emotionally capable and chronically ill. Just two years later, Canada’s Liberals had expanded MAID to handle virtually everything.
” Lung cancer on Step Four”? I contacted two years ago. “MAID. Completely incapacitated and unable to take good care of yourself? MAID. chronological problems MAID. In the wastes, deep? MAID. Do you belong to one of those desperate bad people? MAID”.
Kathrin Mentler, a resident of Vancouver, was the subject of that report, and she was advised to embrace state-sponsored suicide because no psychiatrists could treat her persistent depression.
In June 2023, Mentler attempted to verify herself into a Vancouver hospital to seek treatment for her “debilitating feelings of hopelessness and depression.” Instead, she was given a notice from a doctor that Canada’s crumbling medical system had led to a shortage of doctors.

Do you have any MAID in mind? ” the physician asked.
She desired medical care. They gave her the death penalty.
Make no mistake: now that they have approved MAID or similar techniques, states like California, Colorado, and eight others are on a slippery hill. The government spends too much money on medical to ultimately desire or even make a demand for who should and should not survive.
When the Progressive action first took root in this nation more than a century ago, state-sponsored death was a part of the Democratic platform. However, like with every bad thought, the Left simply can’t allow it to pass away normally.
