A new photo shows the former national security advisor using a modified and less stable version of the Signal communication software, TM SGNL, which is thought to have been in conflict with Mike Waltz, which seems to go on a little longer.
After the Signal talk hole, US President Donald Trump removed Waltz from his place and elected him for the UN adviser. With this picture, Waltz has since been embroiled in controversy.
Waltz’s phone camera was captured by Reuters on April 30 and featured conversations with a number of senior officials, including Steve Witkoff, Marco Rubio, Tulsi Gabbard, and JD Vance. These officials are in important positions in charge of managing international relations and nationwide security issues, including those involving Vladimir Putin’s negotiations with him regarding the Ukraine conflict.
On April 30, 2025, a White House cabinet gathering in Washington, DC, captured the pictures. The modified software, TM SGNL, was created by TeleMessage, a business that replicates messaging programs with more archiving capabilities.
Although this archiving feature may help meet national record-keeping requirements, according to 404 Media’s analysis, it could compromise the end-to-end encryption that makes regular Signal safe, as messages may be recovered from storage.
The messages to” Rubio” that read” there is time” and one from” Vance” that read” I have confirmation from my counterpart it’s turned off were visible in the photos. He will remain arriving in.” .. Additionally, the camera displayed an 8am” PDB” meeting plan and a call to Gabbard.
Trump resigns Waltz to the place of UN adviser after these events, and Rubio will take over as interim national security adviser. According to the White House’s standard response,” Signal is an approved software for government use and is loaded on federal telephones.”
