A large firing threat arose in the investment, including a university, a plaza, and a government complex, according to the US consulate in Honduras on Tuesday. The ministry’s warning on X stated that it had been informed that the attacks might take place on May 16 and on Tuesday. It advised Americans to stay away from the spots. The warning read,” The Elliot Dover Christian School in Tegucigalpa, the Centro Civico in Tegucigalpa, and an unknown store in Tegucigalpa are the three specific locations mentioned,” according to the warning. The Embassy is required to distribute this information to all US people, according to US law. According to the embassy, there was no evidence that US residents would be precisely targeted. The US ambassador claimed to not be in possession of any additional details. The notice was dismissed and said it shouldn’t raise suspicion, according to Honduran Police Director Juan Manuel Aguilar Godoy. He continued,” It is only an alert,” adding that Honduran government had also been informed and that the data had come from the FBI. According to American recommendations, the FBI is obligated to inform its people, he said. Eduardo Enrique Reina, the head of Honduras ‘ foreign affairs, stated on X that the administration had “responsibly and diligently considered the information …responsibly and diligently regardless of its veracity or possibility.” Reina claimed that the warning was given during an election time. He declared that the government may take all reasonable steps to safeguard the electorate and the public. November 30 is the day of the nationwide elections.
