Six European nations on Wednesday declared that they” strongly accept any demographic or geographical change in Gaza” following Israel’s announcement to expand its military offensive there. The foreign ministers of Spain, Iceland, Ireland, Luxembourg, Norway, and Slovenia each said in a joint declaration that Israel’s program “would indicate a novel and dangerous increase” of the conflict. Tens of thousands of conscripts have been called up by Israel for the planned rude, which comes after a two-month ceasefire between Israel and Hamas was resumed in March. According to an Israeli military official, the offensive will include the” conquest” of Gaza, holding place, and moving the show’s people south” for their security.” The foreign officials, who besides Luxembourg represent nations that have recognized a Palestinian state, claimed the plans do” mix another line” and “endanger any hope of a workable two-state answer” to the Israeli-Palestinian issue. A military uprising did “agonize a already disastrous situation” for Israeli civilians and threaten hostages ‘ lives, they added. The ministers also requested that Israel “immediately lift the siege” it has placed on Gaza-bound humanitarian aid, which has resulted in food, gas, and medicine shortages and increased concerns about hunger. The commencement of the peace and the absolute release of all the hostages are urgently needed, they said. According to an AFP tally based on official Jewish figures, the battle began when Hamas launched an extraordinary assault on Israel from Gaza on October 7, 2023, killing 1, 218 individuals, most of whom were residents. Additionally, Palestinian militants abducted 251 individuals that evening, of whom 58 are still being held in Gaza, of whom 34 are said to be dead, according to the Israeli government. According to the health department in Hamas-run Gaza, Israel’s hostile military campaign has resulted in the deaths of 52, 653 people, primarily civilians.
