Authorities confirmed that one student was killed and two people were hurt outside Santa Ana High School on Wednesday evening. Only after groups had finished, the event occurred around 3:25 p.m. One of the three subjects, a female student, passed away in a hospital, while the other two are still in stable condition. Although it is unknown whether they attend Santa Ana High, police are looking for at least two offenders who are thought to be high school students. Investigators believe the assault may be related to gang activity, despite the unconfirmed purpose. Parents are assured by the Santa Ana Unified School District that there is no ongoing danger to the institution or the neighborhood. Following the incident, all after-school activities were canceled, and students will have access to issue counselors on Thursday. Santa Ana, which is 30 miles south of Los Angeles, has about 300,000 people, and Santa Ana High School serves about 3, 000 learners.
