Imran Khan’s party, the party that was imprisoned in Pakistan, filed a petition in the high court in ISLAMABAD on Friday asking for his release from jail, alleging that his life was threatened by the persistent detention on his part due to the impact it had had on his health and given the current situation in India. In a WhatsApp information, Pakistan’s Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf party claimed that Ali Amin Gandapur, the party’s leader, had contacted theIslamabad higher court for the launch of the party’s founder. Khan, 72, has been incarcerated in the military city of Rawalpindi’s Adiala Jail since mid-2019 in connection with numerous circumstances. Imran Khan’s transfer has been approached by the Islamabad higher court. Chief Minister KP Ali Amin has submitted an application, the organization reported.

He was requested to be soon released on parole or probation in light of the current conflict with India, for national cooperation and solidarity, and because of the fear of a helicopter assault in Adiala Jail. The reading of the petition has not been scheduled for a specific date. Gandapur addressed the media at the Islamabad high court’s premises and outlined the PTI founder’s role as a member of the Muslim Ummah ( community ) and expressed hope for justice. He expressed his concern for the country’s absence of law and order, claiming that they have flooded every door to seek justice. Gandhipur argued in the complaint that Khan’s protracted detention as a result of a politically motivated case is infringing on the PTI founder’s fundamental rights. He claimed that the Constitution gives a solution for release on probation to prevent such detention. The applicant added that there is a chance of decay in one’s health as a result of prolonged imprisonment. Additionally, the plea stated that the PTI leader has not broken any prison laws while he is imprisoned.
