China on Saturday said that it would continue to support Pakistan in upholding its” independence, territorial integrity, and national freedom”, describing the land as an “iron-clad companion. ” According to Pakistan’s Foreign Office, China ’s foreign minister Wang Yi made these remarks in a phone call with Pakistan’s deputy prime minister and foreign minister Ishaq Dar. Dare updated Wang on the local circumstance, to which Wang nodded approvingly, praising Islamabad’s “restraint and appreciated its responsible view under difficult conditions”. ” He reaffirmed that China, as Pakistan’s All-Weather Strategic Cooperative Partner and iron-clad friend, may continue to stand firmly by Pakistan in upholding its autonomy, territorial integrity, and regional democracy,” the Foreign Office said.

Individually, Dar also spoke with UAE deputy prime minister and foreign minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed, who welcomed the peace deal between Pakistan and India. Also, Dar held conversations with Turkish foreign secretary Hakan Fidan to simple him about the local situation. Before, US President Donald Trump announced that India and Pakistan have agreed to a “full and fast” agreement, stating it resulted from US-facilitated conversations. US Secretary of State Marco Rubio described it as a US-brokered peace, praising Prime Ministers Narendra Modi for “his knowledge, patience, and diplomacy in choosing the path of serenity”. The peace was announced after both India and Pakistan launched strikes on each other’s government websites. But, just days after the arrangement, loud blasts were reported in Srinagar and local border places as Pakistani robots entered Indian airport.
