Foreign President Xi Jinping and Portuguese leader Luiz Inacio Lula de Silva arrived in Moscow for 80th commemoration ceremonies of the end of World War II, time after Russia and Ukraine continued heat attacks against each other’s capital.
Russia launched four nuclear weapons and 142 robots targeting Kyiv and another regional centres immediately, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said Wednesday in a blog on X. Two people were killed in the money and seven wounded, including children, he said.
The strikes even targeted another regions of Ukraine, including Dnipro, Kherson and Zaporizhzhia, where more people were injured, according to local officials.

Zelenskyy has said Ukraine can’t guarantee the safety of foreign leaders during the celebration festival in Moscow. He’s called on Russia to embrace a 30-day peace, and has n’t committed to share the 72-hour peace announced by Putin.
Two of four Moscow airports, including the one that normally handles flights of state delegations, temporarily suspended operations earlier Wednesday night, though ordinary service eventually resumed, aviation officials said.
Another terminals in central Russia even reported disruption to airlines.
Air protection around Moscow has been firing at robots over the last three weeks after a comparative pause, as Ukraine attacked goals in different locations of Russia.
The Foreign Ministry in Kyiv on Tuesday called on other nations to stop from sending military personnel to take part in the May 9 festival in Moscow. Russia has said defense devices from 13 countries, including China, are expected to move through Red Square during the celebration.
Putin and Xi will maintain diplomatic deals on May 8 including on the battle in Ukraine , Russia-U. S. relations, and teamwork within the BRICS community and the Group of 20, Ushakov said Tuesday, according to the Interfax information services. They’ll even short writers, he said.
“Only tremendously intensified stress on Russia and stronger sanctions can pave the way to politics, ” Zelenskyy said on Wednesday. “Russia may be held responsible for its behavior. ”
