In preparation for US President Donald Trump‘s fight to take control of Greenland, the rulers of Denmark, Greenland, the Faroe Islands, Iceland, and Norway may meet on Monday for deals on Arctic protection, according to Denmark‘s state. Trump has frequently stated that the US needs the resource-rich Arctic area for safety reasons, and he has not ruled out using force to secure it. Trump’s remarks have sparked problem in different Arctic regions as also, including Iceland and Norway’s Svalbard archipelago. Norwegian and Greenlandic officials, who have insisted that the island will choose its future and that the US” will not get Greenland,” were even offended by the notes. Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen said in a statement released on Sunday that “everywhere our places meet, it is normal that we, in this group of countries, meet to discuss the latest safety position in the Arctic and the North Atlantic.”
