Faith All Over the Place, Episode 11: Would Jesus Be a Gym Bro?

We’re again with another interesting event of Faith All Over the Place after departing for a busy week last year!

Stephen Kruiser, my friend, coworker, and podcasting partner in crime, and I kicked points off this week with a brief discussion of Pope Leo XIV’s vote. Kruiser and I both expressed our joy that the new pope is an American and a lover, which sparked a college sports topic, despite the fact that I’m no Catholic. ( Although, it’s not all that difficult for me to start talking about one of my favorite subjects. )

We also touched on the new bishop’s election’s democratization, and I couldn’t help but wonder why folks shouldn’t give him the benefit of the doubt rather than criticizing him for his past statements. Let’s see how he acts as a bishop before we weigh him, which I admit is simple for me to suggest as a Protestant.

Episode 10 of Faith All Over The Place, Episode 10: Why Is Everyone So Cross, was formerly available on&nbsp.

Therefore we moved on to our principal talk point, which was health and trust. Kruiser and I are on our own health expeditions, which are more challenging than they would have been when we were younger. Despite having lost 27 kg since Christmas, I’m somewhere near where I want to be. In addition to my improved eating behavior, I am aware that I need to work out more.

Kruiser and I discussed the idea of transforming faith and health. We wondered if some folks don’t make an effort to remain healthy and fit because it might seem pointless to do so.

Don’t we as Christians strive to be the best actually possible? After all, Paul, the Apostle Paul, states that “your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you” ( 1 Corinthians 6: 19 ), and God’s Word commands that we “love the Lord your God with all of your heart, with all of your soul, with all of your mind, and with all your strength” ( Mark 12: 30 ). Our bodies may be a part of our leadership of everything that God has given us, too.

We even discussed the importance of freedom and the possibility of praying while walking. We even questioned how steadfast Jesus and His disciples were in terms of the labor involved in both their hands and their efforts. I can’t help but think that first-century carpentry wasn’t the job for a week, sick man.

After our health conversation, we meandered a little bit about how the news cycle has slowed down a little bit and how nervousness around body, upcoming holiday, and how the media cycle has slowed down a small. Additionally, I tell a tale of unusual fights. I hope you find this entertaining talk enjoyable.
