Israeli officials: Conducted air strikes in Khan Younis to kill Yahya Sinwar's brother

According to two Israeli military authorities, Israeli fighter jet attempted to kill Mohammad Sinwar, one of Hamas ‘ remaining top people in the area on Tuesday in an attempt to bomb Khan Younis, in an attempt to kill him. Under the condition of anonymity, both leaders spoke. Israeli forces reported that a Hamas control center was struck close to Khan Younis around the same time. Sinwar was not the target of that attack, according to an Israeli military spokesman. Following the assault, columns of smoke erected around the hospital, according to movies from the image that were verified by NYT. At least 28 people were killed in the areais, according to Gaza’s legal defense company. According to our ground-based crew, 28 victims have been recovered from the area, according to Civil Defense official Mahmud Bassal. If Hamas doesn’t lay down weapons and hand over the 20 living hostages it also holds along with the keeps of about 40 others, Israel has threatened a new key military offensive in the area. Hassan has resisted disarming and stated that they will not discharge the prisoners until Israel calls off the conflict. After more than a year and a half of a catastrophic conflict with Israel, Sinwar is regarded as one of the most senior Hamas leaders to leave the region. He is the brother of Hamas chief Yahya Sinwar, who was killed by Israel last year and was responsible for the attacks that sparked the war on October 7, 2023. ( New York Times & AFP sources )
