Harris was asked to sign a letter informing him to call for a recall. Tomé, yet, is impartial and gives gifts fairly evenly between Republicans and Democrats.
Both listeners at Brandeis University are Liberals. Shirley Ann Jackson is committed to DEI, and Jonathan Sarna thinks January 6 is an action of white power.

Commencement listeners are frequently left-leaning, as demonstrated by the assessments from The College Fix‘s 2023 and 2024 and the Washington Examiner‘s 2022 assessment.
However, traditional speakers may be present at colleges that are not among the top 100.
For instance, President Donald Trump delivered a initiation target at the University of Alabama.

This trend of left-leaning commencement speakers, according to National Association of Scholars ‘ Chance Layton, reflects a greater “lack of intellectual diversity,” especially among school administrators.
In a telephone interview with The Fix, Layton stated,” My hope is that over time, universities, especially as they are facing frontal attack from the Trump administration and lack of confidence from the public, have the opportunity to hard reflect on how they operate and make some significant modifications to the academic makeup of establishments.”
He thinks that “merit and competencies” should be more important than” somesome other ideological measure” as a proxy. He claimed that the goal is to see increased intellectual diversity at universities over time.
