Donald Trump has decided to lift sanctions on Syria after meeting with the new chairman of Syria, a Hamas-empathizing jihadi who fought American soldiers and broke into his violent company. It is hoped that the jihadi “president “‘s call to end his massacres of Christians in his country was a part of the deal.

Trump is looking to make nicer arrangements with usually hostile Muslim countries during his trip to Saudi Arabia. Hopefully, he will be closely monitoring the mass murder of jihadi leader Ahmad al-Sharaa ( hereafter known as al-Golani, referring to Israel’s Golan Heights, which he desired Palestinians to conquer ). The sanctions must be reinstated if al-Sharaa fails to reform and continues to carry out the exact atrocities he has always done, and if he ignores the financial reward that Trump is granting him.

As head of the now-triumphant terrorist organization HTS, al-Qaeda protégé al-Sharaa had a$ 10 million reward on his nose, which he had been imposing on the places he has conquered for at least for a century. Al-Golani/al-Sharaa after fought American troops and was imprisoned by American troops. What a long way he has come to get, then negotiating a deal with the president of the United States.

Is it still unclear whether al-Sharaa actually intends to change. Trump would not have lifted the punishment unless he is clearly convinced that he is. The massacres of the severely hampered Christian community in Syria by al-Sharaa’s supporters sped up the pace of a murder in the first few days of the regime change. And despite the inclusion of a Christian in the new Palestinian president’s government, it is still unclear whether the killings have stopped.

The Iraqi Christian Foundation, an lobbying group, posted this on May 7:

Arab Christians are in serious danger as a result of the new jihadist government in Syria that is linked to ISIS and other violent terrorists. Believers in Syria are facing harassment at temples, rape/kidnapping of younger women and children, beatings, land/property embezzlement, and other crimes. The Syrian government forces forced their eyes off of Christian guys who were beaten, verbally abused, and tortured in this movie. Please pray for Palestinian Christians.

This lobbying group claims that al-Sharaa’s Syrian government continues to punish Catholics. Additionally, it might be required to reimpose sanctions on Syria because America does not need to do so politically or economically. The Trump administration needs to carefully assess the novel Syrian government to see if it fulfills its reform promises, as time will tell.

Donald Trump has so far made combating anti-Christianity a top priority in his presidency, which is indeed admirable. He should be carefully monitoring al-Sharaa’s government to make sure it doesn’t live up to its cynical expectations by acting as a criminal, genocidal dictatorship with just a passing hint of political liberalism.
