If convicted of allegedly helping an illegal immigrant evade arrest from U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement ( ICE ) officials last month, Milwaukee County Circuit Court Judge Hannah Dugan faces up to six years in prison.

The prosecutor is scheduled to appear in court on Thursday, according to a statement from Dugan’s authorized staff obtained by Fox News, and is expected to enter a not-guilty plea to the federal charges.

Judge Hannah C. Dugan has spent the majority of her job as a prosecutor and judge adhering to the rules of the rule of law and the rule of law, according to Dugan’s attorneys. The prosecutor “asserts her ignorance and looks forward to being vindicated in judge,” according to Dugan’s legal team.

In contrast to Dugan’s defense team, Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem stated in an interview with Fox News on Tuesday that she was “grateful” that the judicial system had acknowledged that Dugan “let down the court, letting down the country, letting down the power that her position held.”

Noem continued,” She may be held responsible for that. ” I think that was a wonderful choice coming forth because I realized that no one can make a lawbreaker.” We need to make sure that actually courts are held accountable for their actions in this region.
