Pakistan’s retired Air Marshal Masood Akhtar made it known to the media that India’s crucial Airborne Warning and Control System ( AWACS) aircraft suffered damage during recent precision strikes carried out by Operation Sindoor. In a TV interview that later went viral on social media, Akhtar said,” They] Indian forces ] fired four back-to-back BrahMos missiles—surface-to-surface or air-to-surface, I’m not sure. Our pilots made a quick halt to secure the plane, but the weapons kept coming. However, the third one, which was standing among one of our AWACS, hit the airport at Bholari Air Base. The film, which Front Force posted on the conflict-tracking system Front Force on X, comes after Indian Air Marshal AK Bharti confirmed that 11 Muslim air bases were hit in less than three hours. He explained how the American military carried out a specific, synchronized, and measured attack on important Muslim defense installations and how it was decided to strike where it would harm. He continued,” Aggression will not be tolerated.” In response to Operation Sindoor, Indian troops attacked military installations heavy within Muslim territory, including those at Chaklala, Rafiq, and Rahim Yar Khan, before attacking Sargodha, Bhulari, and Jacobabad, aiming their weapons at command centers, and ammunition warehouses. While the Pakistani government has attempted to minimize the damage, Akhtar’s sincere on-camera speech now stands in stark contrast to the standard tale.
