    Flights resume at the rebel-held airport in Yemen's capital, more than a week after Israeli strikes
    After an Israeli attack, a satellite image shows destroyed aircraft on the tarmac of Yemen’s Sanaa International Airport ( AP ) ( Satellite image ).

    More than a fortnight after large Jewish airstrikes ruined the airport, flights to Yemen’s funds of Sanaa, held by the government’s Iran-backed Houthi rebels, resumed on Saturday. According to Khaled al-Shaif, the airport’s head, the Jewish attacks on May 6 left craters on the runway and destroyed the airport’s terminal, a unique nighttime attack. He claimed that at least six customer planes were killed, three of which were belonging to Country Airway or Yemenia. According to the Houthis ‘ al-Masirah dish news channel, a Yemenia aircraft carrying 136 people touched down at Sanaa International Airport on Saturday. The aircraft reported that the flight had earlier left from Amman, Jordan’s capital, earlier in the day. On Saturday, Sanaa and Amman scheduled three more airlines. A Houthi nuclear weapon that struck the basis of Ben-Gurion International Airport near Tel Aviv temporarily slowed down flights and passenger traffic was the focus of the Jewish offensive. In cooperation with Palestinians it, the Houthis have targeted Israel throughout Israel’s conflict with the violent Hamas group in Gaza, as well as professional and naval vessels in the Red Sea. The Houthis have become more well-known both domestically and internationally as the last self-described” Axis of Resistance” part to regularly attack Israel in response to the attacks. Under President Donald Trump, the US military has been conducting an increased campaign of regular airstrikes against the Houthis since mid-March. In exchange for the Houthis stopping their attacks on shipping, the two sides came to a package to stop the US strategy. The rebels ‘ missile and drone strikes on Israel were not stopped by the US-Houthis agreement, which in turn led to problems on Yemen’s Houthis ‘ Red Sea ports. The Jewish military claimed on Friday that it had attacked the Hodeida and Salif ships, claiming that the Houthis were transferring weapons there. In Friday’s strikes, the Houthi-run wellness department reported at least one fatality and 11 injuries.
