More than a fortnight after large Jewish airstrikes ruined the airport, flights to Yemen’s funds of Sanaa, held by the government’s Iran-backed Houthi rebels, resumed on Saturday. According to Khaled al-Shaif, the airport’s head, the Jewish attacks on May 6 left craters on the runway and destroyed the airport’s terminal, a unique nighttime attack. He claimed that at least six customer planes were killed, three of which were belonging to Country Airway or Yemenia.
