A trans activist has been accused of endangering Nancy Mace, a representative from the United States.
Samuel Theodore Cain, a resident of Greenville, South Carolina, is being held in custody at the Greenville County Detention Center on suspicion of threatening to kill a common standard. A friendship hearing is scheduled for Friday.
Cain, 19, announced on social media that he intended to attack Mace, who has recently spoken out against gay rights and has been considering running for governor of the state in the 2026 poll. The Republican represents Charleston’s Lowcountry legislative area.
Cain was detained by the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division on Thursday.
According to the subpoena, Cain, who is also known as Roxie Wolfe, threatened an assassination on or about April 26.
According to Mace’s business,” I’m going to attack Member Nancy Mace with a firearm and I’m being 100 % dead ass.”
Because it is common practice to redact a victim’s title, SLED redacted the name of the common official who was threatened in a press release.
Cain admitted to federal law enforcement, according to SLED, to creating and posting the risk.
The trans activity is “fueling violence,” according to Mace in a speech. ” Capitol Police and SLED acted quickly on this suicide risk, and they should. No one should be subject to death threats for blatantly mentioning extreme sex ideology. This isn’t just about me. It’s an assault on the freedom of speech, the rule of law, and people brave enough to tell the truth about biology.
